There are plenty of flying objects in 2.3. Try the current master branch. For me it seems to give me a lot of "models with undefined ID requested, 193**, 27***, 27***" etc.

Most of the bugs should be fixed in the master branch already. If it crashes maybe try on a fresh game and post the crash logs here.
