Add checkbox and list item doesnt work on mobile

Describe the bug

When creating a list item or checkbox and then creating a new line item via press 'return'

Steps to reproduce

1. create a list item via '- item 1'
2. press return
3. expected: a new list item is automatically created on the new line to show

• item1
• item2

does not work. No second list symbol '-' appears.

Same issue for -[ ]

@MarcS1975 I have tried reproducing this, without success. I am running the latest version on iOS 26.1, within Safari, and new line does insert both "-" and "- [ ]" automatically for me. Do you mind sharing what device / OS / browser are you running?

Yes, It works on IOS. Does not work on Android 13 in Brave, Chrome etc

@MarcS1975 Unfortunately I don't have an Android phone to test this right now, hopefully someone else can/will take a look.
