Adding Support for OAuth 2 authentication on the Bruno CLI
I have checked the following:
- [x] I've searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.
This feature
- [x] blocks me from using Bruno
- [x] would improve my quality of life in Bruno
- [ ] is something I've never seen an API client do before
Describe the feature you want to add, and how it would change your usage of Bruno
Currently, OAuth 2 authentication is not supported on the Bruno CLI. Adding support for OAuth 2 would be a valuable enhancement.

It would be great to have this feature. Oauth2 supported in bruno UI and not supported in CLI kinda makes it difficult to truly make scripts development "complete"
This is already on our roadmap for Password and Client Credentials, and it's expected to be available by April.

Hello @anusree-bruno ! Do you have any news on this issue? Our team is currently blocked as we're using OAuth2 but can't use it in the CLI. It was going to be available by April, but I can't see a mention of this issue being resolved in the new 2.2.0 release...
Thanks in advance for your answer! 🙂
Hi @ImNicolasTheDev, We're actively working on this and have a pull request in place: https://github.com/usebruno/bruno/pull/4578. It's currently under review, and we expect it to be included in the next release.
Closing this issue as we’re also discussing it in another thread here: https://github.com/usebruno/bruno/issues/4348. I’ve chosen to keep that one open since there’s a bit more engagement and ongoing updates there. Feel free to follow or contribute to that thread for the latest information and discussion.
