Performance on M1 Apple MacBook Pro

Hello! Thank you very much for providing this setup. I notice it is very slow on my 2021 Macbook Pro and suspect it may be because of the cpu: Apple Silicon M1. I googled a bit and read this which seems to confirm it.

Anyone else running into this issue?

Very interesting, I just switched to a new M1 Mac here also. Haven't tested it fully yet on everything, but will check.

I've tested a while now and don't have any super big issues, checking now on a site using this setup and have ~230 ms response time on average. It's not super fast, have you made any improvements yourself or other tweaks?

I've tested "Enable VirtioFS accelerated directory sharing" but can't say I experience any major improvements
