Running out of disk space should produce an error message that indicates that this is the problem

The following came in via [email protected]

A retry produced this:

lockfile /root/<ship>/.vere.lock is corrupt!
Assertion '0' failed: 0 (pkg/vere/disk.c: u3_disk_acquire: 615)
Aborted (core dumped).

The issue was that the underlying instance ran out of disk space and was resolved by freeing up space (mainly deleting the core dump file). Had the error message instead been something to the effect of: "No more disk space available to write new events, please free some space and restart" a support request would have been saved.

I've run into this personally and have seen several others do so recently.
