Event log analytics

Determine:

• Distribution of events in the log over a period of time
• How much disk space is used by each type of event

It would be nice to get a histogram of how long different events take to process, but we can't back that out exactly given the amount of information in the log at the moment, so we probably need to add a duration field to each event.
