chat: links show embed drop-down even when landscape can't render them

Describe the bug If you link to eg instagram it renders like an embed but won't load when you click to expand it. Idk actually if this is a bug where it should be able to embed such things but if not, it should not embed-ify links it can't actually embed.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Post instagram link
2. try expanding the resulting link
3. it don't work

Expected behavior Either should be able to embed everything the oembed library supports or it shouldn't try for ones it can't
