.tif file not recognized as an image

Open BSLprints opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Description

Uploading this .tif file: https://ucarecdn.com/2fe6df86-6632-4b99-8618-8497e9863d8c/KingBrewster.tif

The widget reports that its not an image if set to only accept image files - and the backend isn't treating it as an image either (though it clearly is and can be downloaded and opened in any image editor)

Steps to reproduce

I'll try and leave this link up as long as I can. https://ucarecdn.com/2fe6df86-6632-4b99-8618-8497e9863d8c/KingBrewster.tif

Expected result

File is treated as an image and can be resized, reformatted, etc using URL tools

Actual result

File is treated as a non-image document

Environment

Windows 10 client

  • widget version: 3.21.0
  • via cdn on Wix
