[Bug]: Show Calendar Popup Command Displays but selected date is not inserted

Open adxsoft opened this issue 2 years ago • 5 comments

Describe the bug

When the command Show Calendar Popup is activated in Live Preview mode OR Legacy Editor Mode and a date is selected by mouse click (or by using arrow keys and enter) the date is not inserted into the text.

Expected Behavior

I would expect the date to be inserted at the current cursor position in the editor

Note, although this is happening on my Mac it is also not working on Android

Steps to reproduce

  1. In a note have enter some text and leave the cursor at the end of the text ready to insert something
  2. Cmd , Show Calendar Popup command
  3. Choose a date in the Popup
  4. Nothing happens

Operating system

macOS

Unfortunately, it works only when the cursor is in the todo item list.

  1. Type - [ ]
  2. Cmd, Show Calendar Popup command
  3. Choose a date in the Popup
  4. Date time should be inserted

It seems like nothing with Reminders works properly if it's not in the same line as a task/todo?

@uphy That worked for me, but with the calendar popup when typing (@

So typing - [ ] (@ (or whichever shortcut you have set for the popup worked
