[Feature]: execute commands when completing reminders

Open imed-ghomari opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Goal or desired outcome of this feature

I want to be able to set and execute commands from command palette automatically after completing reminder.

Describe the feature

The plugin buttons have the functionality to execute commands, so I was thinking maybe a collaboration to support inline button with the reminder. After that the reminder plugin will recognize the button and execute it right after completing the reminder.

Or maybe another plugin that can execute commands, or maybe execute directly without relying on another plugin if it's no too complicated. I'm sorry, but I'm not knowledgeable about the "how".

Sorry for late reply! When you mark the reminder as Done, what do you want to do for example?

I want to execute a quickadd command. For example, I want to journal every day, so I set a reminder for that. I want this reminder to execute the quickadd command related to journaling when I complete the reminder.

Sorry for late reply. To realize your use case, I have to communicate with quickadd plugin's developer. It seems difficult without their cooperation. I will consider it eventually.
