Already got this installed! Works perfectly fine with all other apps on my system, which is why I have reported this as a bug.
Just bumping this issue. The system notifications don't work on my Linux system either.
I'm running Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64
In fact, when I enable the system notifications, the in-app notifications also disappear.
Would really appreciate a fix, this plugin is an absolute lifesaver and is exceptionally well-built! Thanks for your hard, self-less work! The entire Obsidian community appreciates you!
Issue still not fixed on Linux system :/
not working in a flatpak with flatseal notfications on, in linux

You reckon flatseal is blocking the notifications? I also have Obsidian installed through the flatpak repo.

yea i think so, i switched to the .deb version which works fine for notifications
Great find! Yeah, now that I think about it, it's kind of obvious that flatseal is the culprit. So thanks again for the heads-up!
I really like me some flatpaks though! And since I have so many 3rd party extensions in my Obsidian, the little bit of extra isolation/sandboxing that flatpak provides gives me a bit more reassurance. So I'll probably stick with the flatpak version.

I too like flatpaks for variety of reasons, one is the privacy you get from sandboxing them. Hope they can fix this bug on the flatpak version.
