setting them from external apps, like the official client supports. My specific use case needs this socket $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/discord-ipc-0.

i wont rule it out but it seems like quite the task so i probably wont get to it for a while. maybe ill give it a shot if i get tired of some other things
