Custom tool not working

Open Alrod8901 opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

I am trying to add a custom tool without success.

I have passed as a parameter in tools: <email-editor [options]="config" [tools]="tools" (loaded)="editorLoaded()" (ready)="editorReady()" #template ></email-editor>

I have tried to load it in the init:

this.emailEditor.editor.init({ id: 'editor-1', displayMode: 'email', customJS: [url_to.js], }); It would be very helpful if you added a basic example of how to create a custom tool in the examples directory

I am having the same problem. Is this even supported? Should be included in UnlayerOptions object as an array!! PR for this maybe?

The only way I found to display a custom tool was by creating it at https://dashboard.unlayer.com/ (Limited to just one) Then with the project ID I was able to display it. I think it should be possible to configure it from angular-email-editor without having to do it in unlayer.com

I guess it is Unlayer's way of making you pay for a more expensive plan...

I just need one custom tool, but there is no way to add it from this package. You should be able to add it from here without having to go create it on the Unlayer website.
