Plugin does not detect when Xbox is on
The plugin doesn't appear to be able to tell when the Xbox is on (original Xbox One I'm using, with the latest homebridge and homebridge-smartglass). Can turn the Xbox on from both the Homebridge UI and from iOS Home app/Siri, but after a few seconds, the device goes back to appearing to be off in the Home app.
For the few seconds it appears to be on in the Home app, I can actually turn the Xbox off again, so that command works! But Siri ignores commands to turn off a device which iOS already believes is off, so this breaks Siri use for turning it off, plus having to tap once, wait a second, then tap again to turn off the Xbox is a little annoying. I imagine this would also break the ability to use other instructions like changing apps and the volume, but I was mostly interested in the ability to turn on/off with Siri for now.
im also having this same issue
I have done some more fiddling and cant get it to detected if it on but I can turn it on and off and as that happens it sets to other few 10 seconds then defaults to off this is with a xbox one x
same issue.
Same issue too
Can you check in the settings if Anonymous access is allowed? https://github.com/unknownskl/homebridge-smartglass#setting-up-the-xbox
If that doesn't fix the problem then it might be a wrong ip address or homebridge is not able to connect to your xbox over the network.
I can turn it on but not off unless i press the on button first but then after a few seconds it shows as off again. The remote control gives an error in the console and I cant switch apps.
