stuck on getting your stream ready: Connecting to console... on Mac OS Sonoma
when I use green light it just says connecting to the console, this has been happening for a while and it is quite annoying. I am running Mac os Sonoma 14.1
manually turn your xbox on. It has something to do with the xbox itself, not the app. Sometimes the connection doesn't properly die, so it kind of sits half open, since there can only be one connection...
If it's happening repeatedly. You may not be shutting down remote play properly. Letting it idle out, tends to do this for me. Also straight up closing the app without disconnecting the stream first will also do it.

hi sorry, i did not see your comment, I am away from how rn and I know it s turning on my xbox but it is stuck on the connecting to console thing
plus it is not working when i close the app w/o ending the stream.
@unknownskl I have noticed Greenlight client is not able to connect with a spontaneity compared to Xbox Offical Remote App and dare I say, [XBPlay]. Do you know a good starting point to debug and drill down the networking part?
I am curious to see the diff b/w network calls Greenlight makes vs Edge/Chrome. If there is a client on Windows/Mac, a web proxy tool can come handy.
I'm having this problem on Mac OS Sonoma too. I've tried the recommendation in this thread but nothing works. Just gets stuck on that screen.
