Add ON/OFF status indicator:

This is to provide the user with ongoing feedback about the system's state.

  1. When the user starts sharing - the UI shows the user that sharing is started
  2. When the user stops sharing - the UI shows the user that sharing is stopped
  3. During the transition from 1-to-2 or 2-to-1 - the UI ideally shows the transition

Providing the user with system state indication is good practice. More can be read on Nielsen's usability heuristic.
