Thanks for PR, it is nice feature, however I'm wondering if it is worth to add a new rollup dependency for this (while the main usage of directives, is mainly for modules like react components which have to be used via mkdist/ builder mode not rollup)

Do you know any specific case that directives in "single bundle" are beneficial and mkdist cannot be used?
