feat: Add safe Yarn PnP support

Hopefully resolved #221 :)

Opening this PR as a draft. I've tested it on my code (full disclaimer: only as a yarn patch, not building this exact code from scratch), and it works well. Looking for feedback on approach, code organization, etc.
