(EDL) eye-dome shader/lighting
has been requested several times, similar to: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/3d-gis/eye-dome-lighting/
current workarounds:
can use regular AO post processing,
if using mesh rendering, and materials that write to depth (like MeshPointsDX11BoxDirectionalLight+Shadows.mat)
(left no AO, right AO)
for binary viewer, need to enable these to write into depth:

maybe some progress on this one!
with URP can make custom pass to simulate EDL style fx,
first version (still needs adjustments)
the upper plane is point cloud, not a good test scene - more later..
