create tutorial examples for documentation

Open cosmicBboy opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

To help users understand the utility of this library, it's always useful to have informative tutorials in the documentation to illustrate how one can use it in various scenarios.

This is a stub issue for creating a few tutorial pages for a diverse set of use cases (TBD)

I think as much. I'm not taking this task entirely, but I can contribute with my ipynb notes, user and dev, somewhere in the repo. Just tell me, please, where I can put them, in order to be useful.

@cosmicBboy I use pandas a lot and I would like to create tutorial examples from some of my more generalized use cases. In doing so, I hope to have a better understanding of pandera.

sounds good @jekwatt! I'd recommend creating a tutorials directory in the root pandera repo and creating a jupyter notebook in there.

@cosmicBboy, I would like to contribute to the tutorials and understand how to implement pandera in regular use with pandas DF.
