Report better error messages when parsing defect Kraftfiles

This issue tracks adding more helpful error messages when parsing a Kraftfile which is syntactically (or logically) in correct. The error message should attempt to point to where the error was encountered and suggest a remedy.

Has this been picked up yet? If not, we were wondering where these errors is encountered, specifically where kraftfiles are being parsed. Thank you!
