Control banner size and section padding
Summary
This is not an issue per se but I can't seem to figure out how to make the spaces between sections on first page narrower.
Background
When I render the template, the banner as well as the next section (generated by main index.md) have a larger width than the example websites online (yes, even for rendering the exampleSite from the theme).
Is the improvement related to a problem? Describe the problem: Is there any way to control the width of the banner and the padding of each section of the main page?

I'm not sure I understand the issue you are facing. Do you want the white space between the elements to be tighter? Is any content flowing off-screen? If you can show a screenshot of what you meant, it will be easier to narrow down where the styling for this code lives.
Sorry, I updated the css and the spacing looks fine now. Still adding a parameter to control for banner height would be helpful. Regardless, this issue should be closed.
