Variable font problems (desktop version)

Problem description Variable font problems: – selecting anything with variable font controls results in substitute font – weird variable fonts among weights ( [144pt-126.450 Light] , [9pt SemiBold-620.000] )

Environment

  • OS: macOS 12.7.2 (21G1974)
  • Program used: Adobe Indesign v 19.2
  • Fonts: v1

Additional context I use a lot of variable fonts successfully in Adobe Indesign and they work perfectly, so I would exclude that is a software bug.
