setting cover image width and height to 0 throws error

after creating a new image gallery page and setting the cover width and height to 0 (and having added a cover image for an album), i visited the page on the front end and received this error:

[Warning] imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions
