Was using a Linux Mint 13/14 LTS Live Boot and was unable to install Shake due to dependencies

Can someone please advise which version of Mint/ or similar Live CD I can use as a base and then install Shake (directly or after installing required dependencies) - And how?

I think this is something you have to discuss with the guys from Linux Mint, this issue should be closed. I recommend issuing a bug report in their bug tracker.

I figured out what the issue was. It works fine on linuxmint-17.3-cinnamon-32bit - Which matches the ubuntu LTS release that Shake works on
