Planned currencies

Do you think it is possible to somehow add planned currencies to the list?

Yes. I think it is possible. E.g. now in Republic of Belarus prices are specified in both currencies concurrently BYR and BYN.

This is called the transition period. This is necessary so that the business can move smoothly to the new currency. Therefore, I would like to see the use of BYN code now.

I think it highly depends on the data source as these lists are not constructed by hand.

Thanks for reporting guys. I submitted WIP PR, looks like it is not still available.

We depend on Symfony ICU component and it depends on ICU database, so we have this delay.

Once they update, it will be fairly easy to rebuild the list.

@umpirsky These changes https://github.com/umpirsky/currency-list/pull/3 does not contains the BYN currency code. :cry:
