videoDECKLINK color space detection
i was happily using it last summer, but im hitting again the same problems with decklink mini recorder. noisy pattern, and white image. sometimes i can get 720x576i picture, but nothing above. debian bullseye with gem from git. pd console writes "GL[1281]: invalid value". i use this to monitor decklinks status Blackmagic_DeckLink_SDK_11.4/Examples/Linux/bin/x86_64$ ./StatusMonitor reporting that device is busy as it should, but also "Unknown status ID: 64766664" and "Unknown status ID: 6473636c" loosing ideas, i tried different versions of desktopvideo, gem from repository, gem from git.. nothing works :(
with some formats. with others not. i got gem from git working with camera 8-bit YUV 1080p50. not with computer output 8-bit YUV 1080i60, or 1080p60, neither p50 or i50. with computer only 720x576i works. strange Unknown status ID errors apperas even if its working. "GL[]: invalid value" also, co maybe theese not so important
Blackmagic_DeckLink_SDK_11.4/Examples/Linux/bin/x86_64$ ./StatusMonitor shows different things when trying to capture image with obs(working like charm), or gstreamer(have to set mode=16 connection=2 video-format=3 depending on source), and different with Gem. with gem first 525i59.94 NTSC is detected on beginning of capture, and then the correct format shortly after.
after more tests i found out that my intel graphics laptop hdmi works with decklink mini recorder 4k in Gem only in 720x576i. but i can output 1080p or i in obs, or gstreamer when i set parameters. with canon camera hdmi Gem works 1080p also with nvidia gpu, when i set color space to YCbCr444. no more devices to test it for now.
i also have feeling that [set format 0( or with any other number does nothing [set connection HDMI( or SDI works.
i have another machine with decklink mini recorder, the small one, only 1080p, but that works with intel card without problems. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
