Describe the issue

Using Firefox, I can't copy/paste multiple line sections of code snippets - when I paste, only the top line of my selection is pasted.

This is only an issue on Firefox - using other browsers (i.e. Edge/Chrome) works just fine

Thanks for reporting this @jacksorjacksor ! 💪

I've escalated the issue to GitBook.

Hi @jacksorjacksor! I have reached out to Gitbook support about this and they are aware of this issue and are currently tracking and looking into it.

Until there is a resolution to this, the workaround they recommend in this case is to use the "Copy" button 👍: image

Hi! @alina-tincas - thanks for that!

Yep, thanks for confirming the "Copy all" functionality works in Firefox, let me know if GitBooks are able to resolve the "sections" of code.

One thing to highlight is that code blocks with this formatting can have sections specifically copied/pasted...: https://our.umbraco.com/Documentation/Add-ons/Umbraco-Deploy/Installing-Deploy/CICD-Pipeline/ci-cd-azure-dev-ops

...but code blocks with this formatting do not work: https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cms/fundamentals/setup/install/iis

I've submitted this bug to Mozilla as it looked like something they'd like to know about. They might pick it up and fix it in Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1875035
