In the new variant grid, variant properties are disabled in all the languages - but the default. The non-variant (shared) properties are correctly read-only but shown as enabled.

Specifics

Probably regression created after fixing the issue: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues/20250

Steps to reproduce

• Create a content page
• Select component with variant and non variant properties
• save in the English language
• switch to another language
• edit the component in the second language

Outcome: not able to edit. variant properties are disabled. non-variant (shared) properties even though read-only, appear selectable

Expected result / actual result

• Variant properties should be editable in the other languages
• Non-variant properties (shared) should not be selectable

I've seen that it is scheduled for 17.1.0, isn't this a very big issue not to be able to edit variant properties from the variant?
