I tried setting up umami for tracking some basic e-commerce metrics but I figured it is really hard to get some insights with the current features available.

So far I set up an event order-complete with value and currency. My issue is that the available reports are not able to visualize the data in a meaningful way.

The only thing that I could accomplish is to calculate a conversion rate by setting up a funnel report with

• step 1 as url with * as the url and
• step 2 type event with order-complete

These features I am missing the most:

• Display the purchase value in a meaningful way by aggregating the value over a timespan
• make conversions a first class citizen in umami, it would be nice if I had conversion rate and average conversion value in the overview of a given site.
• For the funnel report it would be nice to have a UTM step type so I can calculate a conversion rate for email campaigns
• For an email campaign I would like to calculate the total value of a specific UTM campaign.

Are there any plans to make umami useful for e-commerce or am I better off using a paid solution?
