Feature request: redirect from home to subscriptions
This is what I use in unhook on my desktop. Super useful since after hiding recommended, home is empty. So every time you go directly to youtube or click on youtube logo you get a broken blank page.
Just to clarify:
So when you go to https://www.youtube.com, you will automatically be rerouted to https://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions
Think I'll add something like this, where if you turn redirection on then it'll redirect from home page to subscriptions by default, but you can put another URL if you prefer something else:

A nice touch for you to consider would be to hide the "Home" link after disabling recommended videos
Not sure I understand, can you clarify? Why would it be useful to hide the "Home" icon in the left navbar (if that's what you mean) when recommended videos are disabled?
Because once you disable recommended videos the Home page is empty. That’s the same reason why I want to redirect from it to subscriptions. So another way to look at it is not disabling recommended videos & redirecting as two separate features, but disabling Home Page entirely as one. But it is up to you.
As long as it redirects me to subscriptions I’m set
Looked into this, and it'll take me some thinking to make it work robustly.
