Open GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue 9 years ago • 4 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start playing something in Windows Media Player
2. Pause or Stop it (both result in the same)
3. Hit Win+L (trigger MonitorES)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: WMP stays paused. Actual result: WMP starts to play again as I'm
moving away from the box.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WMP: 12.0.7601.17514, Win: 7 Home Premium SP1 Turkish 64bit

Please provide any additional information below.
Thanks for greatly useful and environmentalist software!

WMP doesn't provide any API to get the status of media player. So It assumes by
default it's playing.

It's a known bug. I'll check the possibility.

This issue nope! I'll blame it on Microsoft :) It might be possible with .NET
libraries
but I am yet to find a proper workaround for win32.
