an issue with turn monitor off is when the mouse move the slightest the monitor
turns back on, can you give the option to disable mouse when turn off monitor
and only turn back on by keyboard?

Agree. The only problem technically is that It requires Low level mousehook
which doesn't work on lock screen due to security limitations by Microsoft.

The only work around for this would be overwriting MSGina.dll with the custom
one which is a typical behavior of VIRUS!

Thanks for your request. Hopefully I'll find some alternate which can solve
this request :)

Thanks,
Umakanth

Can you try this version ?

http://code.google.com/p/monitores/downloads/detail?name=MonitorES.zip&can=1

This has the feature which will turn off monitor until you press right hotkey
to turn-on again(CAREFUL, you need to set the turn-on hotkey and remember it!)

That's an ugly fix I did for some of my friends.

Great work, it'll be even better if can bind space or enter to display on
hotkey.
