Hey , I am using AFwall for quite a while now and although it is amazing in terms of functionality, it lacks modern material you design . I like to make material you themed redesign / mods of apps . My point is can I make a material you redesign of AFwall and redestribute it .
The design is a secondary concern while there are still unfixed bugs. I would rather prefer to see a fork focused on fixing them. Just my 2¢, I am just a regular user.

Afwall is an invaluable tool that simply cannot be replaced! I can't even imagine how to customize my system and environment without it. After all, the next generations of Android keep coming out all the time. And without patches and improvements, Afwall performs worse.
As another regular user and devoted Afwall connoisseur, I too join the request for bug fixes. Dear wise code wizards, please don't pass by:)
+1 for future developement, Also for me AfWall+ is a requirement as long as running LineageOS on mobiles. Because Linux on Mobile as daily driver will need a longer time, future developement od AfWall+ would be really great.
If it helps I am willing to donate € 100 / year. I am sure I am not alone with it.
I personally use AFWall but I also like a modern UI so I tried to modify the UI (already added material you to most parts). I don't primarily work on backend stuff as I am quite new to Android app development and still learning things every day. I will try to completely modify the UI to new Material You design and carry on the further modifications and fixes that needs to be done as I learn things ! I previously done modification to aShell app and then carried further development ( aShell You )
