Log service does not function until "Apply" selected

Open MrEngineerMind opened this issue 4 years ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

  1. Using v3.5.2 afwall+
  2. Set Log Service Off
  3. Setup rule to block a test app, click Apply
  4. Reboot phone
  5. Run test app, verify it doesnt have internet access.
  6. Also notice that there is no "Block Notifications" when using this test app
  7. Kill test app (force stop)
  8. Turn log service in afwall+
  9. Run test app, you will notice app still does not have internet access
  10. You will also see that no block notifications are generated
  11. Kill test app
  12. Click "apply" in afwall+
  13. Run test app and notice you will now start to see block notifications
  14. close test app
  15. clear blocked notifications
  16. Turn off log service in afwall+
  17. Run test app and you will see that block notifications have stopped

So, enabling log service doesnt work until "Apply" is performed. But turning off log service works without having to click "Apply". (and it seems all subsequent log on and off operations after this initial bug after device boot will work without having to click "apply")
