kmd for windowsx86

Open cyttek opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

i have try the Commands dump, write, search, display in x86 Windows 7 and works fine, but there is no kernel module and options available for Windows x86 what else do you recommend for fast mounting or get a cmd or other fast uses that you have for x64.

And why there is no kmd for x86?

regards

Easiest way to pop a system shell would probably be to modify the stickykeys signature; then press left shift like 5 times on the login screen (on the target system). Also you may modify the unlock signature to support x86 by reversing the Windows\System32\msv1_0.dll

About x86 KMDs. That is a major job. It requires a lot of changes to PCILeech itself; I would also have to redo the assembly for the individual KMDs. This is my hobby project. As such my time is limited even though I spend way too much time on this. From the beginning I have prioritized away x86 support due to lack of substantial market share.

Also contributions are few, I only have a few individual sponsors. I have no major corporate sponsors even though many US west coast companies use this. As such I don't see how I realistically could create x86 KMDs. I'm not going to take time off from work just to create free things for multi-billion dollar companies.

I'm closing this issue due to old age.

I won't add x86 support to the open source variant of PCILeech due to the work involved (and no real gain for me).

If there is a need for this I could do a sponsored development.
