Use google dataset search as source of linked articles

From OR 2021 (https://youtu.be/QWLMlSdoMIY?t=900) it seems there's some sort of way to get a ping when a new article is citing a dataset in google dataset search

There are counts in the ui image

Need to find out more. Is there an api? Is that through search console?
