Latest Ubuntu update breaks

Latest PopOS (19.10 based on Ubuntu) stops icc-brightness from working on boot. Making and installing again restores functionality, but brightness keys only work intermittently.

5.3.0-7625-generic GNOME 3.34.1

I find that my icc-brightness is not working as well.
