Disclaim: Ucupaint should NOT be bundled with the DeepBump addon and his dependencies.

DeepBump offer very convenient tools https://github.com/HugoTini/DeepBump?tab=readme-ov-file#tools for image editing withing the Shader Editor N-Panel. My suggestion is to make a checkbox inside Ucupaint preference to make it "talk" with DeepBump (if already installed of course) , at this point those tools would be offered inside the "Layer Special Menu" of a selected layer, including their related settings.

(DeepBump added a new tool (the Upscale) and other things that are not showcased in his github frontpage, I would suggest to install it to catch first-hand all his features and settings)
