Lost policy text from the old trac site

There were policy texts on the old trac site, and I cannot find them any more.

I don't think that's fair to have wiped them away. If I am wrong, please post link here and close the ticket.

If no such link exist, I ask that all text from the old site will get moved here.

I see policy discussions about things that had answers in the past, and I don't think it's right to just erase the memory of all of that and start over from scratch.
