Compatibility with more modern pytorch versions

In case anyone else happens upon this, I have a fork with updates so that training/testing will work with more modern versions of pytorch (2.x).

I only have it updated for training/testing skipnet with cifar at the moment, but I imagine the changes will be similar for the rest of the code:
