Very slow startup

The LibreOffice Snap (installed from https://snapcraft.io/libreoffice) takes about 10 to 12 seconds to display a window on a one year old multi-core ThinkPad, which is in stark contrast to the deb from Ubuntu's package archive, which takes about 2 seconds. More info available in this forum post.

Yes that's somewhat very annoying. I got a new laptop at work with 13th gen and a very fast nvme drive and that's still very slow (roughly 5 sec).

We had such issues with Firefox and Thunderbird in the past but atm there are no more. So it could be possible... Is that linked to fonts cache?
