Feature Request: hide icons

Sometimes, There can be so many icons that a full space gets filled/cluttered, would it be possible to include a feature, where with a button click, those icons can be hidden/grouped, like Windows OS does or something similar? To keep it clean while icon visibility is not important?

I'm here just to find this FR! Thanks for doing it! This is much important on laptops, for example with 14" screen.
