Ubuntu dock: count while updating?

While updating I am not sure if the number might be misleading on what is currently going on? As the number does not shrink. Maybe it would be better to either stop displaying it when it is updating or decrement the number with each update done?

+1 makes sense since you can see the progressbar the number is kind of irrelevant IMO

I believe this isn't happening anymore. @juanruitina can you confirm if that's the case after the recent work done with the updates? thank you

IIRC, that number isn't the number of updates, but the number of pending notifications. For example, I launched the snap-store and had one pending notification, and a "1" appeared in the icon. When I clicked on the notification, this window appeared and the number disappeared:

Anyway, this doesn't happen in the "new" snap store (App Center). It seems to only happen in the "old" one.
