Thank you for your interest in adsys, and for reporting this bug.
This is because some of our test files contain the ' character in their filename which causes go to fail when creating a zip archive containing these files. We will fix this, but in the meantime if you want the latest version you can try the workaround of cloning the repository locally, then manually compiling/installing with go build. Refer to this page for a more detailed list of commands to run.
Just a note that by installing adsys this way you don't benefit from the full functionality of the package such as the systemd service, PAM module, shell completion etc -- so you'd have to run the adsysd daemon by hand.
For the complete experience we recommend installing adsys from the Ubuntu archive (apt install adsys). The latest version is currently shipped in Ubuntu Mantic (23.10) which will release in a few weeks.
