No keyboard when trying to add new account

Steps to reproduce
From Settings->Accounts, try to create a new account. I was trying to set up a Nextcloud account but it seems to be an issue with any of the options
Expected behavior
I expect a virtual keyboard to appear when I click in the textbox to add my account information
Actual behavior
No keyboard appears.
Logfiles and additional information
Plugging in a wireless keyboard and mouse did allow me to fill in the fields so it's not a question of the fields accepting input, you just don't get a virtual keyboard. Originally I tried writing my info in Notes and copy/pasting it in but had some issues with that. I tried it again later and the issues didn't appear so I'm going to chalk that up to user error. This happens for me as well and I am on the OP3T. Hope there will be a fix for this at some point.
on XperiaX, the keyboaar is shown when focusing on any of the inputs ( username or password ), is it on that screen ?
No matter which account setup page I open, landscape or portrait, none of the text fields triggers the keyboard to show up.
PS: I'm on the devel update channel, stable and RC had the same issue.
