Bluetooth Connection Issue

Open Zottelchen opened this issue 5 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

Starting from a clean install: I am trying to connect my MX Vertical to Bazzite.

  • It does not work with the KDE GUI. While the trust does seem to work, the connection just never happens.
  • With Gnome an initial connection works.

For KDE: With bluetoothctl (following https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bluetooth_mouse#Problems_with_the_Logitech_BLE_mouse_(M557,_M590,_M720,_anywhere_mouse_2,_etc)) it works until the mouse disconnects.

If the connection is lost at any point (e.g. by rebooting the system or switching on the MX between multiple systems), the connection has to be fully removed and reconnected.

What did you expect to happen?

  1. I connect the BT mouse
  2. The BT mouse works
  3. I can switch the channel of my BT mouse and switch back and it still works
  4. I can reboot the system and the BT mouse still works
