NPAPI alternative

Great plugin, worked perfectly up until the dropping of NPAPI support.

So, my question is wrt the 0.3 series and an alternative to NPAPI for Chrome, is this still active? or is their an alternative approach being explored for a PCSC plugin for chrome?

Hi, Thanks for the "Great Plugin" :)

Unfortunately, until now the 0.3 series is in stand-by mode. I think about a more high level pcsclib in js, but nothing started yet. But several people ask me the same thing during last weeks, so maybe I'll start a new dev soon.

It looks like FireBreath 2.0 is near, which brings changes to support the async needs for the Native Messaging supported in Chrome and soon in Firefox. It even might also work in the future for Microsoft Edge.

Hi @ubinity . I have a similar Firebreath plugin and I wonder if you would like to combine efforts so we have one solution and probably migrate it to Firebreath 2.0 for new browsers. I would like to discuss about it if you are interested, drop me a line at adriancroco_at_gmail_com
