PureGo is a library for calling C libraries without CGo. It can be used as a plugin system and that's one of the use cases it mentions in the Benefits section.

Sorry for the delay, I will mark this as "help wanted" as I have not had time to work on this project much. If someone wants to I would be happy to add this with a PR with a working benchmark.
