I haven't been prompted to install this release yet so for me and others, the stable version is still 70.
With the exception of the Samsung Series 5, none of my devices are past the AUE date. There is usually a delay from the time the stable channel is updated...

That is not a stable release of ChromeOS. Was the operating system updated from the original stock install on the device?
You could try: `sudo update_engine_client --channel=stable-channel --update`
Right but that PR hasn't been merged yet so it's still an issue. Honestly, I don't think we should be removing functionality just so it compiles without errors and has...
